What communication would look like if it doesn’t need to happen at the same time. What if we could connect with someone we never meet, without reading their reactions, without performing our responses, but still create something together.
This project is an “asynchronous space.” It’s a container where sound can settle and accumulate over time. You walk in, listen to stories left by strangers, then leave your own, just a thought, a fragment, a moment you want to keep. Then, the next person arrives and hears a slightly shifted archive, layered by people who never meet.
This idea came from how I experience about communication in RCA. I often feel myself like a traveling particle, moving through different contexts, picking things up, shaking things off. In this room, everyone becomes a particle too. They bring their memories, cultures, moods, unfinished sentences, and then leave, shaking some “dust” off for someone in the future.
This room created a gentle but real form of communication, a form that doesn’t demand alignment, but allows traces to accumulate into a new language over time.
