"Internal Channel" is a future forecasting project set in 2038. It imagines a revolution in future AI infrastructure triggered by a shortage of computing power.
In this project, as artificial intelligence’s demand for energy and computational resources continues to grow, ChatGPT, DeepSeek, Claude, Gemini, and Grok are brought under the unified management of an agent company called the "LLM Computing Power Scheduling Center," where computing power is dynamically allocated by the system.
The center is located in international waters in the North Atlantic. It uses the cold environment, offshore wind power, and ocean currents for cooling and energy supply, while also forming a neutral coordination space that is not controlled by any single nation. The “Internal Channel” in the work presents an internal discussion after a model hallucination incident: the models review one another, assign responsibility, and punish errors through the redistribution of computing power.
This project transforms the invisible computing power scheduling, responsibility mechanisms, and trust relationships behind AI into a viewable fictional system. It explores how future technological infrastructure may be shaped by energy, efficiency, corporate collaboration, and the negotiation of power.
